  Food is very delicious...staff is friendly. Home-like atmosphere. I can't wait to make the drive back. This was my 4th visit. I recommend this place to anyone I know passing through Giddings!

  We eat here several times a year and are generally satisfied with the food quality. My husband likes the fried catfish. Their steaks are usually well prepared. The grilled chicken is good. However, the last time we ate there, a couple of weeks ago, the ketchup on our table was soured (spoiled). I told the waitress who was very apologetic. Our other complaint is that only one roll is served and you will be charged extra for another. This is the only restaurant I've ever visited that charges for extra rolls. The desserts here are all homemade, and they are delicious.
